SPIRIT DAYS
Starting October 3rd
To promote school community and spirit throughout the school, the PTA has declared the first Friday of each month SPIRIT DAY. Students and staff are encouraged to wear BLUE and WHITE, including WING WEAR. Please, no hats during the school day.
BOX TOPS
Box Tops this year will be collected by classrooms instead of individually. Each room has a collection bag. You will not need to write their name on the back of the Box Tops :). The classroom with the most will win a prize. Send them in early as our first cut-off date is Oct 20th. This year’s coordinator is Amanda Aquino 508-744-6704
RECYCLING PROGRAM
We are excited to announce that a group of parents are in the process of creating a recycling program at the WING School. The group will be called "The Wing School Green Team" and there are currently about 6 interested parents. If you want more information on how you can join in on this important effort, contact Janell Hofmann at jbhofmann@comcast.net More information will be available via email and through the PTA website.
TELL-ALL-TUESDAY FOLDERS
These folders are to come home on Tuesday, if you can please look through the information, send back anything that needs to be returned in the folder, on Wednesday the next day. The folders will then remain at the school until the following Tuesday when the process will happen again. Beginning in October, we will be experimenting with spending ONE newsletter/PTA info per family. The youngest sibling will be the bearer of all news.
Birthday Banner INFO for Grades 1-8
Spirit bags this year will be filled with a HT WING SCHOOL pennant and pencils. If you would like your child to receive one, please fill out the form in the folder and return to school. The cost this year is $5.00. The children have decorated their own names that will be displayed on the cafeteria wall the week of their birthdays. Please be sure to check them out.
